As the design and development leader of FIGR, Adi is a driving force behind the approach and methodology of the practice.

Adi has gained extensive design experience at award-winning
practices and via international design competitions. His decade-long expertise across all phases of architecture from concept design to the detailed aspects of construction documentation have been crucial on a broad range of government, institutional, public, commercial, multi-residential and boutique residential projects.

Adi’s design approach explores a philosophical agenda on how architecture can provide a platform for evolution that negotiates various cultural, contextual and community objectives, creating a sense of place and identity through the means of an evolutionary architectural framework.

Outside FIGR, Adi is an active member of the design education industry. His continued tutoring affiliations with RMIT University are not only evidence of his commitment to the industry but also positive leadership for the new generation of emerging architects and designers.

Michael believes successful architectural design is a unique response to context and his deep understanding of property and development strategies is vital in achieving this architectural integrity. His vast experience ranges from concept initiation through to construction documentation, allowing him to work seamlessly across all aspects of any project.

Michael leads the business side of FIGR to ensure seamless delivery across all projects. Heavily involved in all aspects of the practice, he is especially focused on ensuring outstanding client service and the highest possible design standard.

Isabel has extensive experience with coordinating large consultant teams and effectively managing multiple user-groups ensuring project objectives and input from relevant stakeholders is implemented into the project as a critical component of the design process.

She provides leadership to the FIGR internal team and manage the subconsultant team, ensuring coordination of information and documentation throughout the project.
With 15 years experience as an architect, Isabel has worked on design, documentation and management for a wide range of commercial, industrial and multi residential projects. She is a strong advocate for attention to detail throughout all phases of project delivery. This breadth of experience has allowed Isabel to develop the necessary skills and understanding to deal with complex projects and client organisations.

Isabel’s projects benefit from her high level of technical and construction knowledge gained through extensive on-site experience. Isabel works closely with the Directors to develop and refine the design response.

David possesses a diverse skill set that spans various project typologies, seamlessly navigating from concept design to contract administration with a steadfast commitment to excellence. His unparalleled attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills form the backbone to FIGR’s delivery team, ensuring seamless project execution.

A collaborative leader, David thrives within broader project groups, actively fostering cooperation and synergy. His approach revolves around adding substantial value to projects, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance outcomes. David is adept at cultivating committed teams, driven by a shared dedication to achieving optimal results for each project.

Anna is a highly creative and analytical thinker who approaches the design process with rigor and attention to detail, whilst always keeping an eye on the big picture. I have a genuine curiosity in the needs and brief of the client, and how considerate architecture and design can ultimately benefit the end user.

As a registered architect with broad-ranging industry experience over various scales and sectors, I have a particular interest in educational and residential buildings. She is a fastidious and highly capable documenter who has worked on all aspects of the building from façade detailing to joinery. These skills have recently been tested as the designer and builder of her own home.

Alongside Anna’s work as an architect, she designs and builds furniture, and continues to practice as an artist and illustrator. These varied creative pursuits provide a wealth of knowledge, giving her a unique and practical sensibility when it comes to material, composition, and tectonics.
